I normally don’t look forward to Mondays, but yesterday was a very special Monday because it was the official start of Mandarin Oriental’s Sensational Singapore Food Fest.
I was guaranteed to have excellent food, and had a wonderfully entertaining company for lunch! 🙂
Also had the pleasure of sitting across from architect Chito Antonio, who is launching a special handbag collection for Rustan’s Silver Vault next week.
Orchids remind me of the Lion City.
I was rather late but there was still plenty of food to go around– with Paseo Uno’s buffet you are always guaranteed a LOT of food.
Here are some of my favorite dishes:
Prawn and Mango Kerabu with Plum Sauce
Sin Chew Fried Noodles
Chicken & Beef Satay
Roti John & Crispy Ngoh Hiang
Singapore Laksa (this was SOOOOOOO gooooood!!!!!!)
Beef Rendang
Tauhu Sumbat
My first *yes first* serving 🙂
And then oh please do not forget to stop by the dessert station to fill your heart and stomach’s desire with all the sweets you can eat 🙂
The “Sensational Singapore” Food Festival will run from November 19 to November 25 and features guest chefs Eric Cheam and Nelson Lim from the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Singapore. Oh, and before I forget, should you dine at Paseo Uno during this period, you also get a chance to win a 3 day/2 night holiday to Singapore (inclusive of roundtrip airfare from Singapore Airlines and accommodations at the acclaimed Mandarin Oriental Singapore).
Better reserve for lunch/ dinner at Paseo Uno (it gets very full!) during the Sensational Singapore Food Festival! Call Mandarin Oriental Manila at (632) 750-8888 or email momnl-paseouno@mohg.com
