Jackie T does some “work” :D + Bag Review

I’m at home already and was not able to blog this afternoon since I was updating Tresor Makati 🙂 I’ve been so delinquent in updating that site that I have actually gotten emails from peeps who were quite upset (teehee) that I was getting lazy *soooorrrrrrrrryyyy* so finally, I had to sit down today to work on the site. Voila, check TRESOR out, it’s well stocked! (Sorry I didn’t get to include the Goyard bags yet!)

Oh, guess what, I’ve also managed to update Accessory Lab (www.accessorylab.com) after a few months of it being dormant haha. There are new animal rings by H.R.H. that are sooooo cute and so bling that I just had to have them featured. 😀 So there. That’s pretty much the bulk of things that I did today. But ey, let me blog about some new bags I saw while surfshopping before I forget. (HK post can wait haha)

Thanks to baghag IV, I am made aware that Hermes came out with “silky pop” bags (cute name). Silky pop bags are made of silk *how luxurious!* and can be your perfect travel companion. You do want to put those last minute purchases in a chic bag, right? I mean if you travel business or first class (crap now this bag can’t apply to me coz I travel coach haha), you wouldn’t wanna be caught dead carrying some nondescript plastic bag that contains those airport purchases (*ahem* souvenirs for loved ones ‘coz you forgot to buy them outside hahaha). Just unzip your little wallet-like clutch and voila, it becomes a beautiful silk bag! This concept is really not original, but Hermes just made it chic and luxe! 😀 These Hermes silkypop bags are 700EU a pop *gulp, not cheap*. ( I won’t buy these because I don’t really care if I carry a nondescript plastic bag as long as it holds what I bought, haha) And they are available at Hermes.com or at your friendly neighborhood Hermes boutique. Thank you baghag IV for alerting me about these beautiful travel bags!! Yours truly is really just a baghag wannabe (‘coz I never knew about these bags til you told me!!)

Ok now, for the real cheese. Since I’m PMS’ing big time, this baghag is going totally psycho on the bag review today, so pardon the language *chortle* 😀

Whoa, so what’s with Chloe now? Another Paddington?? Hags, this is the Chloe Paddington Capsule bag. Tsk, I wonder when will they stop trying to make more of these Paddington “mutants”? The evolution of the Paddington went from hot to the bargain bin (well not really bargain bin, but it went on sale hehe) in just one season. It says one thing– Chloe is overpopulating the bag loving community with Paddingtons. (Too much supply, no demand). I’ve personally had it. Reshaping the paddington into a classic bugatti style still won’t make me want the bag. I applaud Phoebe Philo’s original design (because really, the Paddington was really a beauty when it first came out– especially in chalk!). But tsk, after awhile, it’s sooo darned heavy to carry. Really, they should just retire the design. Haven’t we had enough already? 😀 *snicker… jaded baghag biiiatch :D*.

Fendi To You Suede Convertible Bag. Oh why oh why. I was just saying how good of Fendi to come up with those electric colored wallets and now this? I mean do we baghags look like suckers? It’s one thing to have a reversible bag (a la YSL), but it’s another to be carrying such a monstrosity as “arm candy”. No no no. This convertible bag of Fendi is NOT doing it for me. Yeah, two bags for the price of one sounds like a good deal. Honest opinion, I don’t mind the clutch version of the bag (that handle folds down to become a clutch). But if this were to be hand carried on the crook of your arm, I’m not for it. Priced at US$1,595 at neimanmarcus.com

Ok hags, I think I’ve biatched enough for today. Hopefully tomorrow I won’t be as snooty. *hehe*. I hafta go eat my Caramel apple flavored popcorn *yummmy* now, along with the chocolates that PTR gave me, and the sinful truffles that MS had sent! DH and I have decided to continue our “24” marathon with all that food 🙂 No other way to watch the tube these days, eh? C’est La Vie!!
