Roger Vivier and his comma heels. And now Walter Steiger. His shoes are making a comeback. The label is really no greenhorn in this shoe business so yes, “comeback” is very accurate. Walter Steiger has been around since 1974 when Walter Jr. put up shop in Paris– it was Walter Sr. who started the company in 1932 as an exclusive tailored shoe atelier. Steiger has collaborated with brands like Mary Quant, Kenzo, Alaia, Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, Oscar dela Renta… let’s put it this way, Walter Steiger is Shoe Royalty!
Rumor has it that Walter’s shoes will be on the catwalk of Victoria Beckham’s show this coming season. Can’t wait to see them on the runway if this rumor is indeed true. It’s about time Walter Steiger shoes are back on the soles of the well- heeled!

Remember the name. Walter Steiger. Because I’m sure you’ll find them on your feet soon 🙂 These heels may look crazy (especially the vertiginous ones) but trust me, they are SO comfortable. So if the shoe fits, BUY! 🙂
