In Milan for Fashion Week FW2013!

After a realllly long flight from Manila, I have finally arrived in Milano! I arrived to -4degC temperatures and I suddenly felt the clothes that I had packed were inadequate. Haha and that was the reason my suitcases were 10kg lighter than last season!

I arrived at my apartment to invitations to shows and I have to sort out my schedule for the next day or two (and somehow find the time to eat… and breathe haha). MFW Invites- 2 days

Went straight for my pre-production meeting (more on this very soon) after unpacking a bit and even ran into one of my favorite Asian models Xiao Wen Ju (who walks all the major shows) *she looks so young that I could easily pass for her grandma LOL*

Post meeting, I headed to the Roberto Cavalli showroom.

Cavalli details

I am always guaranteed an unforgettable and surreal experience each time I’m at the Cavalli showroom. This is this private room where celebrities have come to try on the beautiful clothes. I can tell you this much– the clothes of Cavalli are already impressive enough from afar but up close, they are stunning. The details are exquisite!!

I had an incredible time picking out looks and trying them on, and praying that the dresses and pants would zip up because everything there was sample size!

Ended up at the Duomo area for dinner at Giacomo with Gucci Digital PR. It was a beautiful way to end my first day 🙂

Here’s a postcard of the Duomo for you all 😉

And this afternoon marks the beginning of Milan Fashion Week (up first, Gucci). Long day today! More on the blog in a few 🙂 Stay tuned!
