Oh Kuala Lumpur, why did you have to rain that night? 🙁 I must note though, that even the heavy rains did not dampen any partygoer’s spirit as the H Artistry Concert by Moet Hennessy went underway shortly after 9.30pm.
We managed to get in just in time. Red carpet entrance too! Whee!!
For the event, I decided to wear a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress with my Tod’s Signature pochette. I had this intention of dressing up like a school girl (or at least I thought I did) 😉
Mines Resort (MIECC) was the perfect venue for this massive event mounted by Hennessy VSOP.
The whole convention center was converted into several large “bars”
And each area was full of people. I could’ve easily gotten lost in the sea of revelers! But whee, we found our way to our table 😉 *We’ve got good navigators, thanks to Randy and Chad of Moet Hennessy Philippines– we missed Olga though!!*
The VIP area had its own bar service– nonstop drinks were served. Moet Hennessy VSOP really knows how to throw a concert party. They couldn’t have defined the global art of mixing any better than this!

And then, the concert began. K Pop sensation Block B performed.
And then British X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke came onstage.
Another K Pop girl band, Evol, also performed. They were gorgeous 🙂 I became an instant fan!
But the musical highlights of the H Artistry Global Art of Mixing event for me were DJ Havana Brown and DJ Starkillers. Wow. They realllly got the crowd going!!!
Can I just say that this has been one of the most incredible concert parties that I have ever attended? It helped heaps too that I was with a great set of people during the event– Pepper, King, Jessie, Randy, Chad, Marbee, Cheryl, Charo, and Erika!!
