Goyard Reunion + Downtown Chinatown baghag

*Scream!!!* I am soooo excited to share this incident and I just have to scream 🙂 *Super giddy* Soo I was with my friend D! who was toting a new Chanel jumbo bag *wooohoo!* when she exclaimed, “Hey Mrs.T turn around.” And so I did. Oh Mah Gawd. It was like a Goyard reunion! *wolfwhistle* I was wayy too excited that I nearly shrieked! The owner of the white Goyard St. Louis is THE real tai tai– she’s a reallly pretty young “socialite” from Hong Kong who was with her equally pretty tai tai sister (Manila based :D)! Ok, I don’t think I should be mentioning the initials 🙂 I’ll keep them anonymous, but *wooohoooo* REAL tai tais *unlike me*! And the popular siblings were carrying white Goyards! And moi? I was carrying my own white Goyard Croisiere too *trying sooo hard to “belong”… NOT!* So it was a happy reunion of sorts and this was a picture perfect moment. Soooo…. ta-daaaah!!
Brag-a-bag Alert: I was also wayy too happy to finally meet baghag TC, who carried this super pretty *approving look* Chloe tote. Sorry hags, this baghag needed to brag 😀 I just looove the fact that I can brag this way and not get pelted with rotten veggies or worse, fruits. Eyyy I brag for others who are too shy to brag!! 🙂

Annyyyway, today I was super busy the whole day, running around and getting something important done *I will have an announcement to make when everything is finalized– thebaghag will let you in on it :D*. Then I had to ship some stuff today, but couldn’t because *duh* where were them boxes that the shippers usually provide? All gone, they say. Daaaang, the shipping business must be doing realllly good! So now I have to double back tomorrow to get some stuff shipped. Bah.

I can’t blog much tonight. I’m quite exhausted from thinking *yes, I do think.. sometimes haha… I can be the perfect ditz, but sometimes I do use my brain too hahaha.. albeit not often :D* Have so much “work” ahead of me. I promise I’ll keep you all posted 🙂

P.S. I went downtown Chinatown today to meet up with preggy mama Ms.S and after our lovely 2 hour afternoon tea, I headed to Ongpin to get fresh veggies and food! There was by the way, an abundance of fresh shitake mushrooms (1/2 kilo was just Php 90!). So I went mushroom shopping– shitake, straw, oyster… oh boy it was mushroom day *errr… mushroom being the edible kind hehehe* After the market, I passed by Bee Bee (what a funky name!) Chinese Deli, where I bought my faaaavorite Ma-Ki soup (oh dear, can someone tell me what that soup is made from? Tapioca flour with soy and pork?), and some more takeaway food for the kiddies and DH at home. An order of Ma-ki soup is just Php 65 (that’s US$1.40). I loooove Ongpin. I’m so at home there. Food is plenty, and so is gold jewelry *muwahaha underlying reason*. Note to self: Come to Ongpin/ Chinatown more often!

P.P.S. I almost forgot to mention! Remember those hot Rabeanco bags? Well my friend brought in another batch and the most wanted color (purple) is baack! Here she is again, Priced at Php 15,000. (Loro Piana look alike *somehow*, only bigger hahaa :D) Perfect for work and hey, even for school. And in a most beautiful jewel tone too! *Jewel tones are sooo hot!* Text (+63916) 758-0857 if interested. Again, it’s very limited!

P.P.P.S. Just to let the “Blue” bag fans out there know, the LV Epi in Toledo Blue (style: St. Jacques) at Tresormakati.com has just been reduced from Php 28,000 to Php 20,000! Huge markdown! This bag is now a “steal” (considering this bag costs Php 64k+ for a new one!) and is in line with the Jewel tone “theme” for the bags of this season 🙂

  1. Hi Mrs. T! I recently went to Ongpin and saw a lot of jewelry stores. I wanted to buy some pieces but a friend of mine said that I should be careful because some stores sell fake gold jewelry. Can you feature in your blog the Ongpin stores that are guaranteed to sell real jewelry? And some tips on jewelry shopping as well. Love your blog! I’m a daily reader. 😀
