First Night of the H Artistry Moet Hennessy Tour, Kuala Lumpur

After we had checked into our hotel and had freshened up a bit, the H Artistry team headed to Circus at the Pavillion for dinner.

The one thing I had never forgotten about Kuala Lumpur was the food. The quality has always been consistently good wherever we went to eat.

At Circus, Lifestyle Asia’s Cheryl Tiu and I shared the Goat Cheese Baklava. It was sinfully good– and worth a try!

Someone had ordered Beef Carpaccio– but apparently that someone did not belong to our table. When we saw the plate, we never bothered sending it back.

It tasted as good as it looked!

For my main course, I chose the Rocket Salad with Mushrooms and Sundried Tomatoes.

Confession: I actually didn’t really eat “healthy” as these photos might’ve given you the impression that I did. Haha, I ended up eating the leftovers (Rib-Eye and steak fries) off the plate of Fox’s Charo Espedido.

After our heavy dinner, we went straight to one of KL’s hottest nightspots, Zouk.

But not before passing by the Petronas Towers, one of KL’s most (if not THE most) recognizable landmarks!

Zouk is just a few minutes away from the towers.

The lines to Zouk swelled by the minute! The H Artistry Moet Hennessy Manila Group had specially arranged for our entry and we went straight in without having to line up– cool privilege 🙂

There were 2 tables reserved for us, and the weekend party inside was already in full swing when we got to our tables. Crazy, happy, dancing crowd!!

The 1st night’s H Artistry for Moet Hennessy experience was not complete without bottles of Moet et Chandon champagne!

And while all the partying was happening, I saw that Garage Magazine publisher Marbee Shing Go and I had both carried our Tod’s bags 🙂 She had a black Tod’s pashmy while I had a red Tod’s Signature pochette.

We were bag sisters for the night! 🙂

It was really quite an experience to witness firsthand how the wonderful people of Kuala Lumpur let loose on a Friday night after a long work week 🙂 Everyone was dancing to the music of David Guetta, Mizz Nina, and Adam Levine among other artists. I’m actually secretly glad I knew the songs they were playing (haha, I’m very current, thanks to Moet Hennessy’s Chad Alarcon and my “Thursday” group at Privé in Manila)– I can’t imagine staring blankly at everyone singing to the songs because I’m clueless as to who sang what song LOL (ok that has actually happened to me a lot before– and wow, nothing made me feel old quicker than that hahaha).

We all capped the great night with a full “street food”/ local fare meal not too far from our hotel.

Chicken
Fish, Noodles
Prawns

Truly an unforgettable first night in Kuala Lumpur with the H Artistry team of Moet Hennessy. Thank you so much for the good times! Can’t wait for tonight’s main event!!
