I hardly go out at night unless the kids are with me (to have dinner out or to watch a movie), but last night was an exception. My friend Oliver of Quirks Marketing and I were invited to attend the launch of 100 *magazine* at Encore (formerly known as Embassy– this is my first time at Encore. And prior to that, I’ve only been in Embassy like, 5 times?! Sorry Erik, your cousin is no longer a spring chicken to go there weekly hahaha).
At the 100 launch, I found out that our very old family friend and my “godbrother” Richie Yang (of Chili’s and of Superbowl fame) happened to be the executive editor of the magazine! It was really a pleasant surprise to see Richie and his lovely wife, Carrie there 🙂
Ok going back to why I went to this event– I only attended because my dear friend Daphne Oseña Paez is the chosen cover girl for the magazine!!
*WooOoOhoooO!!! First she was on the cover of Money Sense, and now, she’s on 100 🙂 :)* I’m really sooo happy for her!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I know the magazine made the right choice because Daphne really has what it takes to be on the cover of a magazine 🙂 Just look at that cover!!! She is gorgeous!!

Her photos in the magazine were incredible!!!
And wait, let’s not forget who the coverguy is 🙂 It’s DK’s supercool “godfather”, Tim Yap!! I have not seen Tim in ages, so it was really nice to catch up with him 🙂 Congratulations, Tim!! 🙂 *Gotta love the hair! MoShark :D*
I already like 100 because they featured 2 very talented friends of mine to be on their covers 🙂 *beams with pride :D*
And well, here’s a little cam whoring for the night *hahaha*. I only did this because I want to show you all that I wore Spanx underneath my almost skin-tight Karen Millen
dress. *hahaha oye, I proudly said I wore Spanx!!*
*Tsk* The body just doesn’t cooperate like it used to anymore, plus it was all that Hainanese Chicken Rice I’ve been eating from Chef Stevie so a little a lot of reinforcement is always welcome 😀 Spanx did the job quite well– cinch, cinch, cinch! 😀 *See, my investment’s working for me after all hahaha*
Now peeps, go grab a copy of your “100” magazine now 🙂 I’m definitely getting my copy at Rockwell Power Plant Mall tomorrow 🙂

Hi baghag, first time to comment here ^_}. After seeing your many posts of Daphne, I have come to the conclusion that Daphne is really a classy woman and is beautiful inside and out. Hard to imagine she’s actually a mom of three cause she is so slender. I wish I can meet her face to face one day…
