I have a few minutes left before I lock my suitcases and head off to the airport so I’ve to make this blog post rather short (and hope I won’t be too sleepy to blog again when I get to my layover).
Today’s celebrity bag is not something new that I haven’t written about in the past. Newly single Eva Longoria was photographed carrying her Hermes 35cm birkin in gold.
Why I decided to write about this bag again (over and over)? I’m actually keeping an eye out for the color now. A few years ago, I only had eyes for bright colors– the brighter they were, the more I liked them. I stayed away from the neutrals like black, gold (a richer caramel hue), and even taupe or gray.
I must be getting older (ack!) because I fancy neutral colors over brighter ones now when it comes to “investment” bags. I am lusting for that same color that Eva has, perhaps in a smaller 30cm size. I think it’s about time we give our shoulders and arms that break by carrying smaller and lighter bags (as we get older.. ahem ouch).
*Dreamy sigh* A Hermes gold birkin in 30cm with gold hardware. Nice, right? 🙂
