The obsession with Givenchy bags continues. Charlize Theron was snapped in Italy carrying a classic black doctor’s bag– the Givenchy Lucrezia.
Again, the Lucrezia is not exactly a groundbreaking new style of a bag but is a modified version of a classic shape.
Do you notice how designer bags of late have stuck to tried- and- tested styles? The brands are not taking any chances I reckon, ensuring that the bags that they design and produce will be snapped up by us bag folk as opposed to taking that creative chance, only for the bags to sit on store shelves and become stale because no one wants them.
Brands are on the right track though, because bag lovers are becoming so much wiser with their picks, with a majority choosing a more classic design (deciding the purchase is more of a long term investment than for short term gratification). So the Givenchy Lucrezia is spot on.
For the more adventurous ones out there, perhaps a venture into the more edgy version of the Givenchy Lucrezia is in order!
