Bangkok Travelog Intermission: Tresormakati + Sapato Manila + Ilaya + Assorti

Thought I’d do a little intermission on the Bangkok posts 🙂 Pardon the shameless self promotion here, but I have to somehow announce it (since I’ve gotten flak for not having updated TRESOR, hence all that bag backlog!). 😀 *Sorryyyyyyyy*

So now, I’ve updated TRESORMAKATI.COM to include bags from YSL, Chanel, Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. There are also some markdowns of other bags.

Also on another note, over the weekend, Rockwell’s Archaeology (lifestyles area) reopened!
Sapato Manila has her own boutique now! Here are the proud owners Theresa and Jen 🙂
My pick of the day– that Coco and Tres black hobo with green flap for under Php 3,000. It looks yummy and is light! (This is probably the only black hobo I’d tote!)

I also loved the capped toe ballet flats (soo Chanel with those quilts too!)

My friend EAI scored these patent yellow flats which are soo perfect for summer.

The shoes we got were all less than Php 2,000!

Ilaya Couture also opened already and I just had to go and get myself a shirt there. Hard to resist Ilaya Couture‘s clothes since they’re so easy to wear. I got a white embroidered shirt wherein the sleeves roll up and the bottom also nips on the sides *gosh it is sooo hard for me to describe clothes!* I also wanted those hot pants… err shorts, but I have legs that would make pigs look thin, so I had to politely draw the line *snicker*! They also now carry the accessories of D! and I was tempted to buy myself a pair of the interchangeable earrings (the center stones are changeable into other colors!) but when I went back for them, the ones I liked were GONE! *sniff* I’ll take photos of the pieces again when they’re set up. When I went to Ilaya, D! was just about to set up her stuff. Go looksie at those earrings (ask for the interchangeables).

Other shops that were open were Maud, Ruth and Esther, Cru, Marni’s Room, Tru, Camadiv among others. I didn’t really get a thorough walk-through because I was lugging around my loot of the day *yes, Mrs.T obviously didn’t shop in Bangkok, so I ended up shopping at Rockwell! Pssst, I contributed to the local economy, so don’t give me flak haha* But do check out the new Rockwell Archaeology and take a loot at Sapato Manila’s and Ilaya’s latest stuff. They’re by far my fave open boutiques in that area (oh I like Camadiv’s cuffs and accessories too!) *since I walked away buying stuff there almost each time I pass by* 🙂 These stores are located in the 2nd floor of Powerplant Mall.

And lastly, a stone’s throw away from Rockwell is Doña Consolacion Bldg (home of Nullah among other stores), where a new shop called Assorti just opened. Assorti used to be near Mile Long, and has since relocated to this bldg! Loving Assorti because they sell all these perfect-for-summer outfits: my pick? Shortie shorts! *Which I badly need since it’s sooo hot I cannot fathom wearing denim jeans throughout the summer* They also carry Havaianas and swimsuits as well as nice airy tops. Oh and did I mention bags too? 🙂 Assorti is at the Ground Floor of Doña Consolacion Bldg, 122 Jupiter Street Makati (between Frank Provost and Red Ribbon).
