This season’s dominant black and white situation has prompted me to reassess my previous discarding of black bags. I have nothing against black bags on a general note, but again having used black bags for the most part of my *ahem* younger years, I chose to set aside blacks in favor of colors (and too much of it at times haha).
But this season, black is back. With white. I even nearly signed my life away with a pair of white Celine lucite heeled pumps had it not been for the sight of my nearly- empty wallet which immediately knocked the sense out of me LOL. Oh and by the way, those white Celine pumps cost EUR 700+ by the way– I know, right? Whaaaat?!?! Haha. And some years ago I had even sworn off white shoes because they were just unsightly for women with larger feet (white makes them look even bigger). Bah. Getting back to the deal about black and white bags, I saw this Prada tote.
I used to have reservations about carrying a bag with white handles, not because of aesthetics, but because of practicality– or lack thereof. White handles just get so dirty so fast unless you decide to wrap them with scarves. But ahhh this Prada tote made me change my mind. It’s such a pretty bag. And is such a good compromise for women who would rather not have another black bag– because this is obviously not an entirely black bag.
The bag’s style seems very functional, with that exterior zipped pocket, and handles that are long enough not just for hand/ arm carry but also for shoulder carry. Prada is bringing it with this bag! It’s a YES for the bag hag 🙂
