Bag Highlights: Louis Vuitton Fall/ Winter 2009

Time for another bag review. Late, but better that than not. Besides, I cannot ignore the bags of Louis Vuitton!

Certainly no absence of fanfare in the Louis Vuitton Fall/ Winter 2009 bag collection. Crisis or not, the bags of Marc for Louis Vuitton are anything but low- key.

I like this because of the detailed body. LV seems to prescribe to the same bag aesthetic as Valentino here. I know, I shouldn’t be making comparisons but I find it inevitable. As they say, it’s always in the details. And these are interesting details.

Looks like a gift bag with ruffled “tissue” on top 🙂 Cute, but not my style. I don’t like thc chain part of the bag.

I’m somehow drawn to this clutch. It’s got that sweet-innocence-but-been-there-done-some look to it. *hehehe*

*Gasp* The chain! So Chanel, non? In fact, Chanel did make a small bucket bag very similar to this one in the early 90s.

The color is nice, but not the style.

The SpeedyCatchy for sure, but I find the bag way too busy for my taste. Am I getting old, wanting simpler lines, and less mess on the eyes?

The Alma Very late 80s- early 90s, biker- chic with those Chanel chains and studs.

Perfect bags when painting the town red!
Aquarelle making the comeback so soon?I like the colorful watercolor canvas better. These are too… bland for me. But they’re interesting.

And just as I opened this post with the very detailed “Speedy”, shall I now close with the same bag. Loving the color that peeps from underneath the “flaps”!

See anything you like yet, baghags? 🙂
