A quick hair update!

Remember how I had harped about my hair a few weeks back?
My hair got to a point where it was so dry that when I actually brush my hair, hair strands would “break”. It was that brittle.  🙁
This was my hair back in Florence. So many strands of hair out of place. It was really not manageable.

Last week, I tried this new “mystery” shampoo from Procter and Gamble. Since then, my hair’s become a bit more “tame” and manageable despite the stifling heat coupled with the unbelievable humidity.
My hair’s gone from extreme heat (115degF) to cold and dry (62degF) on this trip. And it has stayed “good” and in place. I have taken to tying it back with my favorite floral tie-back (which many have mistaken for a scrunchy hahaha, NO! It’s Not a Scrunchy) just because I didn’t want my hair to stick to my skin when it gets humid (eeww).

Thankfully I don’t need to blow-dry my hair for it to stay manageable during this trip. I certainly can’t say that it was the weather that made my hair “tame”, so credit has to be given to this Mystery Shampoo.

I can’t wait to see better results. I’ve honestly never been high maintenance about my hair in the sense that I don’t buy all these fancy products to keep my hair healthy (ok, well except that I love going to the salon to have head massages and my hair washed +blown out on occasions). So if this shampoo + conditioner combination can help manage my hair, I’m definitely in it with this mystery brand (for now) for the long haul. It’s really high time I learn to stick to one good shampoo+ conditioner.
What is your hair like during extreme heat/ extreme cold? Does it misbehave too?
